Appearance Description:
Lexi Marie is somewhat tall, reaching 5'8", and has a sexy, very slender figure. Alexis' skin is very pale, and usually free of major blemishes. Her straight, light blonde hair reaches down to mid-back, and her eyes, most often outlined with black eyeliner, are a shade of light sky blue.
Lexi is usually seen wearing, as her clique implies, very preppy clothes. A majority of her wardrobe includes frame-flattering dresses and a few polos.

Personality Description:
On the outside, Ms. Darley seems like the image of perfection. Alexis is the "queen" of the Preps, and as such, she has a great reputation to uphold. Being more than superior above all of the rest, she won't be seen around anyone with a lower status than her, even most of her own clique. Lexi is very dramatic and flirty, often charming hot guys into a spell with her beauty. She is very vain and self-concious, going absolutely insane over one little clogged pore, or red spot. (If it weren't for zit cream, Alexis would probably commit suicide.)
She'll do anything to get her way, and she usually will with little effort.
On the inside, however, Lexi is far from perfect. After stabbing her long-time boyfriend violently with a kitchen knife to the point of death after he cheated on her, she can't forget about her horrible past with relationships and being un-loved in childhood. She chooses not to think about it, but anything triggers her memory and might just make her lash out at someone again. With guilt eating her alive, Alexis feels like she deserves to die at times, but refuses to talk about her feelings or her dreadful past for fear of getting caught. [/color]

History:
Birth/Childhood
Lexi's parent's were just teenagers, her mother sixteen, and her father eighteen when they had a one-night stand. Her father raped her mother, and got her pregnant with Alexis. Alexis' mother being a minor, her father was locked in jail, and hasn't seen anything but his cell and a court room or two since then.
Lexi's childhood was pretty miserable, seeing as her mother worked odd jobs around the clock just to put food on the table. She never knew her father, as he was in jail, and her mother never really brought him up in conversation, hiding a scarred past.
Teenage Years
At sixteen, just before attending Barrington High, Lexi stabbed her long-time boyfriend to death with a kitchen knife for cheating on her with another girl. Alexis realizes that she overreacted, and could have just dumped him, but she felt it was necessary.
Part of this anger stemmed from not being loved and protected as a child, which she thought would happen when she was in a steady relationship.
Current
Lexi is currently the "queen" of the Prep clique at Barrington, and likes it that way. Despite her past, she's pretty well off financially through grants from the school.

(Using Tatum, going back to when she received her letter.)
It was a pleasantly crisp fall day in the middle of September, not a cloud was in sight, and the sun smiled down on the Brightridge house. The windows were wide open so they could get some fresh air. As Tatum was getting ready to go outside to read a book, a brown barred owl swooped onto the windowsill, dropping a mysterious envelope onto the side table below. The owl then turned around, ruffled its feathers, and soared silently out of sight. This was unusual, owls delivering letters instead of the post office?
Tatum made her way to the table, puzzled, as to what was going on. She looked, and noticed that the envelope was addressed, not to her mother or father, but to her. Tatum fingered the envelope, and looked at the crest at the top. HOGWARTS SCHOOL of WITCHCRAFT and WIZARDRY was this a mistake? Witch? Her? No, it was surely a mistake if there ever was one!
She decided that she might as well open it. A nervous and excited Tatum tore open the envelope, adrenaline pumping. What was inside? Was it good or bad? She tossed the envelope to the floor, carefully prying open the letter inside with her fingertips as if the parchment was the lid to a treasure chest. Before Tatum showed this to her mother or father, she read the text of the letter to herself:

Term begins on September 1st. We await your owl by no later then July 31st.
